The Victorian Department of Business and Innovation is undertaking a study to help shape the growth of Victoria’s Clean Technology (Cleantech) sector.

To help ensure it has access to timely, accurate and reliable information, the Department engaged WSP Environment & Energy and Marsden Jacob Associates (the study team) to conduct an industry survey to benchmark and measure the performance of Victorian Cleantech companies. This survey* is now closed and the overall study is currently being finalised.

The study provided an excellent opportunity for Cleantech related companies to contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Cleantech policy and programs in Victoria. The project findings will assist the Government to better understand Cleantech activities in Victoria, including barriers and opportunities, and ensuring that any future industry development activities are focused on high growth, high value-add areas. The Department is planning to publish a summary of the project findings upon completion of the study.
